Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country music star for more than 30 years. She was born in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd day of July in 1971. She and LeAnn Kymes were among the youngest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss - born on July 23, 1971, is a popular American country and bluegrass singer. Her age was just teen when she made her debut in the music scene and was a winner of local contests as early as 10 years old and recording her first album when she was 14 years old. She signed by Rounder Records, her first album was released in 1987. The album was also a part of the band Alison Krauss Union Station where she continues to perform. Later, in 1989, her first solo album was released in conjunction with the band.
