Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson, in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson, (born April 24, 1982, Fort Worth, Texas, U.S.), American singer, songwriter, and TV personality who emerged as a pop rock star following her win in the TV talent show American Idol in 2002. Clarkson was raised at Burleson (Texas) located in which is a suburb located in the vicinity of Fort Worth. Her vocal talents were recognized when she was just seven years old by the choir teacher of her school. After high school graduation, Clarkson relocated on a trip to Los Angeles to try to be a part of the showbiz. Following her return to Texas in 2002, she participated in The Fox Broadcasting Corporation's American Idol. This singing competition gave viewers the chance to choose their top performer. Clarkson received a lot of praise from viewers due to her captivating voice and sense of humor. She won one million dollars and she signed a recording contract with RCA.
