Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding is a British artist and singer. The singer was born Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December 1986 in Hereford. Ellie Goulding's infectious electronic sound rapidly pushed her into the top charts once she was noticed by the public in 2010. Her ability to do this with the songs "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding stands at the forefront as are Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of popular contemporary music as well as independent hip-hop that is arty. Her soprano voice as well as her talent for writing emotional songs are what make her unique.
