Sharp was born and raised within Rochester (New York) and was a fervent student of the world of music. While at the Hochstein School of Music, she was a student of clarinet, cello as well as piano. The passion she had for theatre in school was the reason she applied to The Boston Conservatory, where she received an award. The Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Sharp following her graduation. Sharp chose to go into the theatre following her graduation from Cum Laude with a B.F.A. Sharp performed on her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Sharp made her debut Off Broadway as Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. Sharp also played 8 roles in the comedy interactive Eat the Runt. Sharp is also a part of Abyssinia and Aida in addition to Thunder Knockin, Jitney along with The Producers. She was even a read for August Wilson's Come and Gone. In addition to her work on the screen and stage, Sharp has several other original projects in the works she has written or co-written. She sings as often as she can, and is currently working on a full-length album currently in the process of being recorded. Sharp is a fan of exercise. She stays fit by training in boxing, learning Krav Maga, and taking long roadtrips. Sharp lives with her husband and children in Los Angeles.
