Lis Wiehl (born September 19, 1959) is an American author and Former legal analyst for Fox News.
She currently serves as an adjunct professor of law in New York Law School. Before that she served as an associate professor at the University of Washington Law School. Legal commentaries have been provided to National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She was a regular guest of The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl she was born and grew up in Yakima located in Washington State, was a graduate of Yakima in the state of Washington from West Valley High School. She earned her bachelor's at Barnard College, followed by a master of arts in literature at the University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor in the US Attorney's Office. Her role was as the correspondent for legal issues of NPR's All Things Considered. She served as assistant chief investigator counsel to Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. Her time at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle was from 1995 to 2001. She was the director of their Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl is an analyst for Fox News analyst since 2001.
