Coleman was born at Blackpool Lancashire. She was a student at the Arnold School in Blackpool where she was head girl and scored straight A's in her A-levels. Discussing her role on Emmerdale Coleman said that she regrets not having had a typical University experiences. Coleman appeared on Crystal Clear at the Edinburgh Festival as part of a group called In Yer Space, which she participated in during her time at high school. Her performance was well-received, and the play received favorable reviews. When she was auditioning for drama schools, Coleman got the role in the role of Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale in 2005. Coleman received two awards in the year 2007. In 2007 Coleman was nominated for two awards, the British Soap Awards as the most promising newcomer and the National Television Awards as the Most Popular. In 2009, at the British Soap Awards she was recognized in the Best Actress Sexiest Female and the Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman was also nominated as Best Actress at the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who made it clear at a press conference held on the 21st March 2012 that Coleman will be replacing Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat picked her to play the role due to her ability to work well with Smith and could talk faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Her career has been in the entertainment industry since 1987. Eva has been more visible on television than films. In all the roles Eva has appeared in on television shows, Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and the detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two which are the most notable. The former even earned her two 'Daytime Emmy' nominations and allowed her to explore her creativity in music. Eva is an entrepreneur, in addition to an actress. The actress has three marriages and has a daughter along with her husband.
