Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan actress who was born and brought up at home in Orange County. At the age of five, she moved from Morocco to California. Her breakthrough occurred in 2015. She graduated in 2015 with a a degree from University of California San Diego. After making small appearances on NCIS and Leverage Pernas was offered the role of Marisa Sierras in The Young and the Restless. It was her turn to play Catalina as Catalina in Jane the Virgin after she left the soap opera. The actress who is multi-lingual has appeared on The Brave, The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Between 2019 and the year 2020 Pernas played Lexi Vaziri as part of Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly announced in May 20 that Pernas had a relationship with Justin Hartley who was her character on The Young and the Restless.
